Wii bundles - imposed
Posted by Kerri on November 6th, 2006
Just a quick post before I head out to college. GAME have up the Wii packages for preorder on their website but its interesting to note that to buy a Wii, you need to buy an extra game with it be it Zelda, Red Steel or Rayman. I can’t remember if it has always been like this, but what I do know is that with DS Lite, you could buy it for the RRP of £99 and get a free game with it. It sure does seem that retailers, atleast in the UK. Really do know that these Wii’s will sell like hot cakes.

Very good find. I was completely unaware of this, but it could be a case that the second batch of pre-orders that Game are set to take are only available if you purchase a game alongside the console. I spoke with my manager yesterday who was unaware of the current situation regarded our second batch of pre-orders, but I can see them taking this route. By the way I submitted this to the Official Nintendo Magazine forums.

Not to do with GAME, but have you heard the rumour about Zelda being a 2 player game?
