The game ‘ArchLord‘ is now to be available free to play for those who purchase the boxed game in future. In a move by its creators Codemasters yesterday, its probably likely that the company had expected much more of an audience to purchase and play the game. Archlord was released back in October to a luke-warm reception. In my opinion this is due to the complete oversaturation of the online game market. Why would people want to pay for a brand new online game which consists of basic grinding and not much else, when they can play already established games such as World of Warcraft, EVE or Guild Wars which are a great investment of your gaming hours and have something extra added in which adds to the enjoyment of the game.

For those of you out there interested in this game (heck, it might be pretty easy to get recognition in this as there isn’t a very big playerbase :P). You can get in from GAME for £19.99.
