Wii Console linked with the Nintendo VIP 24/7

Just received an email from Nintendo which confirms something I’ve always thought should be included in the European consoles since they announced the online services of Wii. As you can see from the screen-shot, the console can be tied in with your Nintendo VIP 24 account and you can finally purchase something worthwhile from the online rewards scheme available to European Nintendo fans.
What is odd though is the little logo there for the Japanese Nintendo club, i’m assuming maybe you will be able to buy virtual console points from there later on as well?
