I’ve recently spent time playing some PC games. For the record these include Grand Theft Auto Vice City and San Andreas as well as Final Fantasy VIII. For the record, I’ve completed all of these games before but wanted to give them a go on a different format. Now, this might be just my opinion but these games all seem fairly incompetent on the PC in comparison. The music of Final Fantasy 8 is so different due to the lack of a Playstation midi chip and the controls for Grand Theft Auto really don’t live up to the perfect controls of the PlayStation2 versions. The way I see it, games that are meant for consoles really don’t work well on PC, just how PC games don’t work well with consoles (First Person Shooters and Real Time Strategies especially). Have any of you ever experienced this before?
