Ouch, talk about adding insult to injury. First Sony get beaten by its rivals (however temporary those figures may be) and now their attempt at viral marketing is exposed.

The guy that discovered this (Babylonian) had this to say on the Something Awful forums.

So I just watched this video on YouTube of some guy rapping very poorly about how he wants a PSP for Christmas. A few things stood out, though: he apparently bought a PSP faceplate just for dancing with in this video, he praises random features of the PSP (I love the big screen?), just small shit like that. So there was a link to a blog in the video’s description, which the video uploader described as some “True LOL stuff” (seriously, does that smack of some suit trying to use internet lingo or what?).

Do you reckon Sony will admit to this? Or sort of let it blow away like last years illegal spray paint-a-thon.
