Nintendo Wii Browser lives

Over at linked site ‘The Machiavellian Nerd‘, the Nerd has got first hand impressions of the Opera browser for Wii.
I cannot see Opera for Wii becoming a replacement to a computer based browser. On a standard sized CRT, it just doesn’t do the job well enough. The limit on text input is also annoying and limiting. Time will tell however, since this is the trial version and I will hold off my final verdict until I see Opera’s final launch version and it’s performance on a 720i television.
As expected the Wii browser, much like the DS Version, is hardly revolutionary. Its nice to have added functionality like that though. Its good to see extra things popping up on the Wii channels menu, I hope that they carry on with that. It does however seem knowhere near as exciting as the recently released ‘Whether Game‘.

It’s more of a time waster than the forecast and has more functionality, i dig it. Plus i can check my site inbetwix commercials just as fast as my pc, but without getting up.
Opera’s aiiight. Buggy though.
Keep fighting the fight, hero.
