Perhaps one of the greatest games ever, Streets of Rage, has been ported and upgraded on PC. The game has been made by Spanish coders ‘Bombergames‘ and is a culmination of everything great about the original games.

The games storyline has been written by the team and is very close to the themes of the original game. It includes all of the characters carefully ripped from the originals as well as the backgrounds and all of the music has been remixed nicely.

I must admit, this game is a brilliant example of what could happen if Sega brought back the series. Although its unknown what the game would be like in 3D, maybe its best that this classic game be left alone in its original state. My favorite thing about the games is the complete early 90s Hollywood movie feel, as well as the tacky music, which would be lost if it was a modern production.
