Looks like Microsoft fans get the best pick of games this week. I suppose it’s the Easter Weekend so people won’t have as much time to play games for a while.

After this weeks announcement of Rock Band, I don’t really know if its even worth picking up Guitar Hero 2 seeing as its successor will be popping up later this year. It’s definitely a great game but misses out by not having as many good songs as the first game. I remember reading once that it was a problem for the developers because a lot of the songs in the games are more popular in America than over here so it might not sell as well. I must admit, a lot of the songs on GH2 are a little boring and there are only about half I have actually heard before. Although, things look good with the micro transaction element. You could always buy new songs for the game as time goes on.

Also this week, mass ports of Prince of Persia (isn’t that game like 2 years old?) and a new Sims pack (I think we all know someone that can’t wait for that).
