Your right, missing out of size of the game is a bit of a bummer. I think the compromise though is the graphics. The quality of the graphics, as well as the AI have obviously taken a lot of work. Whereas before, R* simply build on their already existing code every year (which is how they managed to make San Andreas so large - it was 4-5 years in the making!) Now though, they have made a completely new system (they used it in that Table Tennis game too) which should mean in future they will have more time to work on the size and the quantity of things in the game.

I was going to say gamers wont be happy with the stat that the city is smaller then the previous one. But for me its the little things that make games more enjoyable. Like NPC's doing more then just walking around in circles.
But unless a win an XBOX or I find someone who owns one I think Ill miss out playing this game. Which isnt too much bother as I have only spent about 4 hours play in total on all other GTA games combined.
