Guitar Hero III gots it some online play

Come on, you must admit you were kinda expecting this right?
Hopefully after reading my post the other day about the situation, you should all be clued up on the business context surrounding Guitar Hero now!
Well, turns out that RedOctane’s co-founder and president Kai Huang went on record today over at IGN to confirm that the title is on track for year end and will feature online play in all of the titles on all formats.
He also went on to say that the version for Wii would be controlled by a guitar peripheral much like we have seen before. I follow Kotaku in the slight disappointment at this news. Although it’ll probably turn out better for it, I’d kinda have liked to see how they would have worked the game with the Wii remote.
Either way, I’m excited that there are a lot of solid online titles in the work for the Wii now. For a moment there, Nintendo’s online plan looked to be in trouble.
Lets just work on eradicating those friend codes now, right Iwata?
