Spore Delayed until 2009

I’m far too emotional to write about this right now, it’s just… too sad.
Although, not all is lost. It’s said to be released sometime in the 2009 ‘fiscal calendar’ which means it could come out anytime after April 2008 - which isn’t too bad I suppose.
Come on Will, stop releasing H&M expansion packs and hurry up with the good stuff.

Should I buy a top end PC just for this game?
Will my girlfriend still be talking to me if I ignore her, and all my relationship duties (ie hugging, spending time together, talking…)?
Or should I just opt for the DS version instead?
Do you know anything about the DS version? Or will it just be some platform version, ala Mario-esque?

I don’t think anyone knows about the DS version apart from that it is coming out at some point in the future.
Perhaps the delay is due to EA wanting to release the game simultaneously on the DS and other consoles?

This game just seems too good to be true, from what I’ve heard.
If it does get a release, and if I do buy it I’ll probably go for the DS version. Sounds like a cool game to be able to play on a portable system.
