Going For Gold - Games released on 29th June 2007

Posted by Kerri on June 29th, 2007

brain-prof.jpgAs with most weeks in the last few months, this week we’ve got another large amount of token movie games being released. Perhaps one of the most anticipated for awhile has been the Wii version of ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix’. With the idea of wii remote controller wand-ery, we’ll just have to see how the game fares at retail (most likely very well) as the movie is released in a few weeks.

Also this week a large amount of 360 games which have been hyped pretty well. ‘The Darkness’, ‘Overlord’, ‘Project Sylpheed’ and ‘Tenchu Z’ are all interesting affairs for the highly break-prone console.

PC

  • The Sims 2 Deluxe, Driver Parallel Lines, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Overlord

360

  • The Darkness, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Overlord, Project Sylpheed, Call of Juarez, Hour of Victory, Vampire Rain, Tenchu Z

Wii

  • Driver Parallel Lines, Fantastic Four: The Rise of The Silver Surfer, Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, G1 Jockey Wii

VC

  • Kirby’s Dream Course, Bloody Wolf

DS

  • Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix, More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima, Puzzle League DS

PS2

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Shrek the Third

PSP

  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, SBK 07: Superbike World Championship 07

Yes I started listing VC titles again. Although not exactly ‘new’ titles, with this weeks announcement of ‘Wii Software‘ it should be nice to have a welcoming spot for it when they finally arrive.
