Ragnarok Online DS Announced

Wow, certainly never saw this coming.
Japanese publisher Gungho Online recently revealed that they are entering into the hand held games market with three titles in development for the Nintendo DS. Both a brand new flower arranging as well as a fishing game for the DS were announced as well as a port of PC MMORPG ‘Ragnarok Online’.
Although little is known about the portable version of the game, it was announced that the game is a real-time action RPG and that the Wifi capabilitys of the console would be used.
It seems a little odd to me that an MMO could be done on a Nintendo console with the strict rules of the Friend Code system. However, if Gungho were using their own servers (which i’m sure they have plenty of) I don’t see why they would not be allowed to create their own rules in regards to online play.
