By simply taking a quick glance at todays release list, one might believe that the Transformers movie may be opening in cinemas soon. Putting aside the PS2 game based on the series made a couple of years ago, this title seems to reek of movie games and is definitely a big earner for its developers.

Of course, we have some other games out which aren’t based on this years moneymaking Hollywood blockbusters. We’re finally seeing the release of ‘The Darkness’ on the PS3 as well as Big Brain Academy for the Wii. Still no news on when Mario Party 8 will be back in stores though…

Being the Guitar Hero fanboy I am, I’m definitely saving my moneys for next weeks ’80s Edition’ expansion pack which I can’t wait to get my hands on.
