Special Halo 360 Dated and Priced
Posted by Kerri on August 16th, 2007
Earlier this year at E3, Microsoft announced a new ‘puke-green’ Xbox console which boasts a 20GB hard-drive as well as HDMI support. Microsoft revealed today that the green special edition 360 will go on sale on the 20th of September (my birthday :)) and will come to the small sum of AUD$679.95.
Considering the console does not come with a courtesy copy of the actual game - do you really think it will be worth the extra when the normal premium is over $100 cheaper over there? Let’s hope that upon its release here in Europe, it is lowered in price - or at least bundled with the game itself.

I wish Dell would date my frickin PC. Then I could get round to trying out Halo and seeing what all the fuss is about.
Although it is only Halo 1 (and only because it came as a two 4 one offer.)

I’ve played a couple of hours of the first Halo but I’m not sure if it was enough to understand what all the big fuss is about. It certainly didn’t have the incredible atmosphere that Half Life 2 had right from the very moment you click ‘new game’.
Still, Halo 3 will do immensly well at retail and you can bet that the fanboys will feel a sort of anticlimax
