This week sees a rather small bunch of games being released. There are of course a lot of PC titles and DS titles out this week but I can’t help feeling that the drought of games for the PS3 and Xbox360 isn’t really helping them much.

Saying that however, I have a feeling that Boom Boom Rocket could pretty much justify a purchase of the console in itself. The game appears to be a spectacular rhythm game that will hopefully be as good as it seems. I really wish I had an Xbox so that I could play this game!

My recommendation for this week would have to be Pokemon Ranger. I’m super excited for the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl (the continuation of the proper series) and with this being released shortly before the American release of those games, it should help to sell the next big titles in the series when they do arrive. I can’t help but feel saddened however that Nintendo didn’t attempt to release the proper games over here first as thecurrent date set for the next entries in the series are ‘sometime in 2007′ which is kinda crappy seeing as they are released in America almost a week from today.
