Going For Gold – Games released on 4th May 2007

That’s a lot of Spiderman games! To tie in with the film release today the games have been released on all available platforms. You might notice they haven’t been released on the PS3 which is odd seeing as the font on the case IS the Spiderman logo after all. They might be worth picking up as I know the franchise carries a track record of having some ‘ok’ game tie-ins.
It’s good that Final Fantasy III is finally out here as well. I imported it a while back from America and it’s a great game. If your expecting something like the more modern games in the series however you could be a little confused by the portable version. The style of the title is more reminiscent of the oldest games in the series and although the graphics have been updated, the game still plays a lot like an old game. There isn’t many skills and there are a lot of enemies that are just palette changes of other enemies. Worth a try though if your a fan of the series.
