Another summer week gone by, and with more anticipation building for some of the larger releases looming towards the end of the year (and the end of the month) – we’re seeing a rather tiny release schedule as more and more people throw down their control pads and *gasp* head for the great outdoors!

On sale this week is a brand new iteration of the Premier Manager series as well as a compilation of the entire ‘Neverwinter Nights’ series. On the ‘downloadable’ side of things we’ve got Ecco the Dolphin and Hexic 2 for the Xbox Live Arcade and more mediocre titles for the Virtual Console.

After finally conquering my brain age rut of 40 I stumbled across the ‘Fitness Testing’ function of Wii Sports and have been lowering my sporting age all week (currently I’m at 28) which has been keeping me busy. I’m definitely planning on spending some more time with Paper Mario – but these Wii point cases are starting to build up, when do you think Nintendo will start manufacturing just the cards without the wastage?
