Guitar Hero II for 360 – Downloadable Song Packs Hit
Posted by David on April 12th, 2007
Picked up the 360 version of Guitar Hero II? (dare I say it, the ‘more-expensive-but-not-wireless’ version?) Feeling left out that you don’t get to rock to the songs from Guitar Hero I?
Well never fear because Microsoft Live is here for ya buddy. For just 500 Microsoft Points ($6.25, or £4.20 in Queen Elizabeth’s Money) You can download a pack of three extra songs each from the original Guitar Hero game on PS2. Isn’t that swell? The song packs contain these songs.
Guitar Hero – Track Pack 1
Bark at the Moon (as made famous by Ozzy Osbourne)
Hey You (as made famous by The Exies)
Ace of Spades (as made famous by Motorhead)
Guitar Hero – Track Pack 2
Killer Queen (as made famous by Queen)
Take It Off (as made famous by The Donnas)
Frankenstein (as made famous by The Edger Winter Group)
Guitar Hero – Track Pack 3
Higher Ground (as made famous by Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Infected (as made famous by Bad Religion)
Stellar (as made famous by Incubus)
I should also point out you can also purchase some new Gamercard avatars (Me and the boy from Fable get on just fine to be honest) and theme packs to snazz up the Xbox Dashboard.
I’m interested to know if eventually they will have all of the songs up for download. It certainly would end up costing more than the original game does that way.

I’m in love with Guitar Hero II. I really thought the wired thing was going to bother me, but it forces me to stand up and therefore, I rock harder than if I were snug in a cushy chair across the room.
