Is it just me or are there too many massive budget Hollywood movies out this year?

One of the most exciting in my opinion however is Harry Potter. Even though the final book is out this year I’m still interested in seeing the terribly dark looking film based of the fifth book (the last one is the seventh).

As always, EA (predictably) are making a video game based on the film license. Here is a quick look at the game in trailer format.

To be honest, the battling in this looks really fun but as far as I can remember, Harry Potter just isn’t Grand Theft Auto. If it is anything like the book then there isn’t many fights at all. However,if EA are making a crap load of extra content not included in the film for the Spider Man 3 game – it wouldn’t surprise me if they made a load of extra stuff for this too. The game seems to draw nicely from its source material and carries over that dark sense of the final books and the latest film.

I really wish I could say with confidence that this is going to be a good game based on a film – but that’s almost impossible to say the least. I really hope this game comes out well, I’ve yet to give a Harry Potter game the time of day but the Wii version is looking interesting to say the least.
