In comparison to Rockstar’s hype for the Grand Theft Auto 4 Trailer, the trailer released last night showing footage of Manhunt 2 sort of came up out of the blue.

The trailer itself is incredibly reminiscent of many films regarding psycho analysis, bringing to mind some rather uncomfortable scenes from Kubrick’s ‘A Clockwork Orange’. One thing that does strike me about the trailer is the graphics. I can understand why they are no where near the quality of next gen but part of me thinks that if it wasn’t for the Wii getting a lot of ports from PS2 games – would Manhunt 2 even be on the Wii at all?

You can watch the trailer over at the official site and being the debut game of Rockstar London I must say I would like to think that things don’t look so bad after all regarding the problem of UK games development. However, one developer making a game which will probably sell a whole load isn’t exactly going to fix the industry of an entire country.
