Mario Strikers: Charged Football – 25th May 2007

When they said it was a tentative name – I didn’t expect the word ‘football’ to be added on the end for effect but, there you go.
The game is a sequel to the Gamecube game Mario Strikers and will be available on the Wii in late May. In the game you are given the chance to play football/soccer with the characters from the Mario world. I’m pretty sure this is the first online Wii title to date (although, Eledee’s has a quasi-online element I believe) so it should be interesting to see how this sells.
Also on the 25th of May, the Mushroom Kingdom is covered in rain due to the pathetic phalacy of Mario’s constant violation in spin-offs.

I really enjoyed the original Super Mario Strikers. but this one hasn’t even been given a date in the US, I hope it comes out soon though, especially with the online play!
