What remake do the fans really want?

You guessed it, Final Fantasy VII.
Hot on the heels of the announcement of Final Fantasy IV for the DS (the spiritual successor to the recent remake of the third entry), many fans still feel like Square have yet to fulfill their needs. At Square’s annual party this weekend over in Japan, they gave fans the chance to post up messages saying exactly what it is they want from the company. Turns out many fans are more interested in a remake of the ten year old classic than anything else Square has to offer. Pictures of notes left on that very message board can be seen over at Kotaku (just follow the link).
After Square teased audiences at last years E3 with a mocked trailer for a remade Final Fantasy VII on the PS3Â – fans are clearly hyped for the almost inevitable remake.

If they brought out Vagrant Story on the DS Id be very pleased…..but it aint gonna happen.

Chrono Trigger for DS would rock my world. Alas, not gonna happen either.
